Preparation
Every vehicle offered by 9XI is hand-selected and prepared as we would expect for our own collection. We focus on provenance, originality, mechanical condition and honest presentation, rather than cosmetic shortcuts.
Our preparation is intended to ensure each vehicle is ready to be enjoyed immediately by its next custodian, whilst remaining true to its character and history.
Preparation includes:
- Comprehensive pre-sale inspection.
- Verification of chassis number, engine number and documented history.
- Service history, invoices and MOT history reviewed.
- Road test and mechanical assessment.
- Wheel, tyre, suspension and braking system inspection.
- Fluid level and leak inspection.
- Professional exterior detailing and paint refinement.
- Interior deep clean and leather treatment where appropriate.
- Final quality inspection prior to handover.
Warranty
As a specialist dealing predominantly in modern classics and enthusiast vehicles, we believe transparency is more valuable than providing an insurance-backed warranty with numerous exclusions. Vehicles are sold on the basis of their documented history, condition and inspection. We actively encourage independent inspections and are happy to accommodate them prior to purchase.
Many Porsche specialists adopt this approach with older air-cooled cars, as age and enthusiast modifications mean a conventional warranty often provides little meaningful cover.
Instead, buyers receive a comprehensive history file together with an honest appraisal of the vehicle’s condition, ensuring they know exactly what they are purchasing.
